Brad Pitt recently spoke with the the UK's Daily Mirror and revealed that there are more kids in the future for him and his baby's mama, Angelina Jolie. A lot more kids.
Brad on having more kids: "I'm not joking around. I have three kids now and next year I'll have six. Nine. We're looking for a soccer team. I want to compete in the next World Cup."
Brad on how parenthood has changed his life: "The change has been immense. I've become a father, turned 40, and I've become more clear on the direction that I'd like to take and the things that speak to me. In my younger days I was more of a drifter. I'd try many things - I'd try anything. But now there's a real pride in understanding myself and what's important to me and my own values."
Brad on how being a dad makes life run smoother: "It makes you much more efficient because you do everything faster. There's no time for messing around. I still value the work I do, but at the same time I value more getting home to my kids. It somehow makes my work mean more because I know somewhere down the road that my kids will see it. That is the way I approach everything now. Maybe it was turning 40 as well. There were certain things I wanted to attack and it seems to work. I go back to the kids and it just makes me more efficient and I get the things done that I like to get done, whereas before I probably meandered and drifted more."
Brad on how he is able to turn his celebrity into something positive: "It helps because there's an automatic spotlight on us and it's hard to get out of that spotlight. It occurred to me a couple of years ago that there were so many people in need, and so many stories that needed to get out, that maybe I could be a conduit in that way. It's been a great help and opened many doors. And we have access to meeting a lot of great minds who can give us a very informed education. But it's important that if you take on something you must stick with it because Hollywood is known for being flighty. If you don't then you can do more harm than good because you can cause people to turn away."
Brad on the negative side of fame: "We are treated like something special and it's easy to start thinking you really are special. It's a dead-end personally. I'm put on this pedestal. I have to be careful not to buy into that image."
